Registration
is with the Craniosacral Therapy Association of the U.K. The Association
monitors and maintains standards in the profession and requires that all
practitioners registered with them are qualified to the approved standard,
engage in Continuing Professional Development, have appropriate insurance

Craniosacral Therapy
The
development of Craniosacral Therapy was begun during the early 20th century
by osteopath William Garner Sutherland. From its osteopathic roots it
has continued to evolve and is now practised separately from osteopathy
as Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. It is a safe, gentle hands-on therapy,
involving no manipulation, which can be effective in treating many conditions.
Because of its gentle nature it is suitable for all ages including babies,
women in pregnancy and older people. Read
